My name is Courtney Thomas and I am the proud owner of Courtney's Cakes and Sweet Treats. I've been baking professionally for 11 years, and decided to become a full time cake and dessert baker 7 years ago working out of my home kitchen. I work with my assistant manager and other half, Jessica Tipton. She's been baking and decorating cakes and other decadent desserts for 6 years and does an amazing job. Jessica is a dream to work with and I couldn't imagine doing this without her.
I have always loved baking, and I started helping my grandma in the kitchen at a very young age. I enjoyed learning from her and hearing about all the treasured family memories and moments made in her kitchen. I bake with the hope of passing those family traditions and memories down to my son, and hopefully for generations to come. I started Courtney's Cakes and Sweet Treats with the goal of offering the best treats, custom cakes, and desserts at the most affordable prices for my customers.
